2008 Banquet Overview

Our theme this year was UNITY. By uniting our ministries and organizations, we can better impact Greater Tampa Bay. We believe that we can do more together than we can apart. This happens as we partner together on outreaches and projects, and providing resources and surplus that we might have to other needy organizations. By collaborating, we create a unified front that opens doors with other organizations.

The 10th Annual compassion Awards Banquet at A La carte Pavilion provided a great evening to ho0nor, praise and glorify our Lord. The evening highlighted many local compassion ministries through our meet and greet time prior to the banquet. Desert Rain led us in a time of worship before the Lord. This was followed by a delicious meal from A La Carte Pavilion. Ken Johnson, Chaplain for the Indianapolis Colts, and our keynote speaker challenged us to stay at it, don't give up, and stand on the mighty rock of Jesus Christ.
